About Satisfactory Interactive Map
A free, independent map and planning tool for Satisfactory, built by players for players. No account, no paywall, no tracker locked behind a login.
Why this site exists
Every Satisfactory save starts the same way: you land, you look for iron, and sooner or later you open a map in a second window. The maps that rank well are good, but most of them make you pick between a fast map with little explanation, a detailed tool that is hard to use on a phone, or a tracker that only works after you sign in or pay.
We wanted one place that does the everyday jobs well: find a node and its purity, plan where a factory should go, tick off hard drives and slugs as you collect them, and share an exact spot with a friend. It should load quickly on a laptop or a phone, work in your language, and never ask you to create an account. That is the whole idea behind Satisfactory Interactive Map.
What you can do here
- See every resource on one map. All 459 resource nodes with their purity, 31 geysers, resource wells with their satellite nodes, plus plants, creature spawns and hazards such as gas pillars and spore flowers.
- Collect everything. 118 hard drives with what each crash site needs to open,1,242 power slugs, 106 Somersloops and 298 Mercer Spheres.
- Track progress without an account. Mark items as collected and hide them. Progress and personal notes stay in your browser, and you can export them to a file and import them on another PC.
- Plan a base. The base location finder ranks spots by how many nodes of the resources you need sit inside a radius, weighted by purity.
- Search and share. Search for a region, an item a hard drive needs, or raw coordinates. Every view has its own link, so you can send someone the exact node you are talking about.
- Read the guides. Each resource and collectible has a page with region-by-region counts, coordinates for every location and links that open the map on the spot.
Where the data comes from
Marker positions are read from the game's own level data for update 1.2.4, exported with the open-source SatisfactoryMapRenderer project. We do not copy positions from other map sites or place markers by hand, which is why our counts match a fresh save exactly: 459 resource nodes, 118 crash sites and 1,242 power slugs.
Region names come from a biome map published by the gtoonstra/satisfactory project. What each hard drive pod needs to open, and which creatures or hazards guard it, comes from the crash site table on the Satisfactory Wiki. A build script matches every wiki row to the drop pod in the game data and stops if any of the 118 pods is left without a match or an unreadable requirement.
How we keep it accurate
When Coffee Stain Studios ships an update that moves nodes or collectibles, we re-run the data pipeline against the new game files and rebuild every map tile and guide page from the result. The game version used is printed in the footer of every page, so you always know which update the map reflects.
If you find a marker that is wrong, missing or in the wrong place, please tell us. Coordinates from the map (shown in the bottom-left corner) and a screenshot make a fix quick. You can reach us through the contact page.
Built to be fast and private
The site is a set of static pages served from a global CDN. The map draws markers on canvas tiles instead of thousands of separate elements, so it stays smooth on mid-range phones. Guide pages load without any JavaScript at all.
There are no user accounts. Your collected items, filters, notes and theme are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. The privacy policy explains this in detail, including how advertising works on the site.
Languages
The map and all guides are available in English, Español, 日本語, Français, Deutsch, Português, 한국어, Italiano. Item and region names follow the in-game terms as closely as we can. If a translation reads oddly to a native speaker, we would like to hear about it.
How the site is funded
Satisfactory Interactive Map is free to use, and every feature is available to everyone. To cover hosting and development, the site may show ads from Google AdSense. Ads never cover the map, and nothing on the site is locked behind a payment.
