Power Shards from each slug
A blue slug makes 1 Power Shard, a yellow slug makes 2 and a purple slug makes 5. Each shard adds up to 50% clock speed to a machine, so three shards push a building to 250%.
Where the good slugs are
Blue slugs sit all over the starting areas. Yellow and purple slugs cluster in harder terrain: deep caves, high cliffs and dangerous biomes. Filter the map to purple only to plan a shard run, because one purple slug is worth five blue ones.
Picking them up
Walk up to a slug and grab it. Some are on ledges that need a jetpack, Blade Runners or a Hover Pack. Unlock Power Shard crafting through the MAM before you collect a lot, so you can turn them into shards right away.
